Thomas H.
Physiotherapy Assistant
“What I enjoy most is helping patients build confidence in their movement and seeing them return to the activities they enjoy.”
I’ve learned that recovery can feel overwhelming, especially when pain or injury interferes with everyday life.
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, I aim to help patients feel supported, understood, and confident in their rehabilitation. My role is to guide patients through structured, encouraging, and achievable exercise-based programs.
Graduating with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, I work closely with registered physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons to support individualized treatment plans.
I have experience and training in therapeutic modalities, including electrotherapy, ultrasound, and shockwave therapy, which I use alongside exercise to support recovery. I work with patients following orthopaedic surgery, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
