There’s a common misconception that you have to be experiencing pain or discomfort in order to seek help from a healthcare practitioner. Seeing an osteopath or a massage therapist isn’t top of mind if you’re feeling great, which is why I like to teach my patients about the power of preventative care.
Osteopathy plays a significant role in balancing the body and mind – something even the healthiest people on the planet can benefit from. As an osteopath and massage therapist, I look at the body as a whole, exploring all of your symptoms (even those you don’t consider to be a problem) to bring your body back into alignment and prevent future concerns.
The beauty of this hands-on, holistic approach is that it can benefit anyone. Whether you are searching for relief from internal or external symptoms, or simply looking to improve your overall wellbeing and prevent future health concerns. By helping you connect with your body, we can treat things that medication can’t.
I’m passionate about my field because it’s always changing. I constantly challenge myself to learn more because osteopathy is such an extensive, wide-ranging field. When I’m not working with patients, you’ll likely find me teaching other practitioners how to take their patients to good health.
To me, there is nothing more gratifying than hearing a patient who has found comfort thanks to their treatment. I’ve had many clients say they wished they’d found osteopathy sooner, which gives me hope that their experience will empower others to reach out and take control of their health.
