Access Rehab COVID-19 Protocols
All patients will be screened over the phone or via email for any symptoms of COVID-19, based on the most current patient screening questionnaire from the Ministry of Health.
If the screening is positive, the patient will be advised not to come into the clinic. The patient will also be advised to self-isolate and to contact Public Health.
Appointment bookings will be spread out to allow enough time between patients to maintain physical distancing and allow for thorough cleaning after each appointment.
Upon arriving for your appointment, please follow the signage provided. Patients are asked to wait in their vehicles and you’ll be alerted when it is time for your appointment.
The Access Rehab waiting room has been set up to allow for physical distancing.
Patients are asked to wear their own mask (cloth or other) to the clinic if they have one, otherwise they will be provided a mask upon arrival. Before each appointment, patients will be asked to wash their hands or use an alcohol-based sanitizer.
All Access Rehab healthcare providers will be following the latest advice from the Ontario Government on the use of PPE, which includes:
- Wearing a mask and abiding by strict hygiene and sanitization procedures.
- Ensuring all surface areas and equipment is cleaned and disinfected after each use.
- Performing additional cleaning/disinfecting daily in high traffic areas, such as common areas, public washrooms, staff rooms and treatment rooms.
- Paying extra attention to disinfecting commonly touched surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, toilet handles, counters, handrails, touch screen surfaces, as well as shared equipment, workstations, keypads, etc.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we all continue to do our part to keep our community safe and healthy.
